Here is a new video where I digitize an embroidery design from a photo of fabric and make a label to use on a backpack. I show you how to use the knife tool, outline tool, closed object, ellipse tool, rectangle tool, remove overlaps, outline tool, color film, sequence by number and much more! This is the first of two videos.
I am stitching finger puppets for the 2-year-old twin’s Easter baskets. They, both the twins and the puppets, are adorable! In order to speed up the stitching process, I am combining 4 puppets in each hooping. BERNINA V8 software makes this so easy.
After combining the designs I show you how to use optimize the color changes. This changes the number of times you rethread the machine from 47 to 15. Yes Please!
I hope you learn something useful in your V8 software. Have a great day!
Hi guys! With all of us needing a distraction from the real world, I decided now would be the time to continue helping you learn to use your BERNINA V8.2 software. Here is a video using the Color Photostich tool in the auto digitize toolbox. Even if you might not use this tool for an actual stitch out, you will become more familiar with how to move around in the software just by watching and then trying it yourself. I hope you enjoy it!
Here is the last video of this 4 part series, Quilt Labels and Lettering with BERNINA V8 software. In this video, I show you how to use sculptured fancy fill, elastic lettering, rotate a hoop, use a built-in design and more. I hope you find it useful!
Here is the third part of learning to create a quilt label and working with lettering in BERNINA V8 software. This time I show you how to use the break-apart tool on lettering and how to copy and apply object properties from one letter to another.
Here is the next video showing lettering and quilt label techniques in the BERNINA V8 software. Part 3 and 4 still to come. Let me know if you like these videos.
Happy New Year! I have created several videos using the BERNINA V8 software that I hope you enjoy. I love to use the software and look forward to sharing with you things I know you will find useful. Please subscribe to my Youtube channel and check back often.
