In this last of 4 videos, I take all of the elements and actually create the labels using the BERNINA V8 software. Lettering, Break apart, color re-sequence, and many more tools are used. Thanks for watching!
Here is the 3rd video where I am showing you how to digitize from a photo of fabric.
BERNINA V8 software. Here is the second session working on digitizing a label from a photo pf fabric. I use und, zoom to fit, the knife tool, blackwork run, object properties, break apart and hide others. Let me know if you find this helpful!
Here is a new video where I digitize an embroidery design from a photo of fabric and make a label to use on a backpack. I show you how to use the knife tool, outline tool, closed object, ellipse tool, rectangle tool, remove overlaps, outline tool, color film, sequence by number and much more! This is the first of two videos.
Here is a little video showing how to get a perfectly pressed pinwheel block. The trick is the spin the seams in opposite directions on the back. Very easy and if you have quilted very long it is not a new trick for you but for those just starting is is a very important trick to learn.
Here is a great trick to join long/ large pieces of batting to use in quilts. Painters tape to the rescue…..again!
This video show how I trim the excess batting and batting from the perimeter of a quilt after quilting to get it ready for binding. After I trim it I stitch around with the number 2/2A foot and the #3 stitch on a BERNINA and then use the number 71 foot to bind the quilt.
Here is a quick video reminding you and showing you how to check the placement of your binding before stitching it in place so your seams do not land at the corners and cause bulk.
